Fastest Path to Kind of a Big Deal?
I'm still a relatively new player, with maybe 4 months under my belt. I have completed Prophicies, and earned the Protector of Tyria title. When I got this, I saw the "Kind of a Big Deal" indicator come up showing that I had one of the 5 maxed titles I need to accomplish that.
So I'm wondering what the fastest way to complete that title is? The way I figure it, if I complete all the missions in Factions and NightFall earning masters (I'm halfway through NF now, with Masters in everything) then I'll have three maxed titles. That's pretty easy considering you'd want to do all the missions anyway. (I'm almost exclusively a PvE player) So, what to do for the last two points? I'm thinking that I could do all the missions again on hard mode, say Tyria and Elona, which I think would do the trick. Obviously, not the easiest route, but maybe the shortest. The other possibility is the cartographer titles, although I have no idea how easy/hard those are? Or maybe the Lightbringer/Sunspear type of titles? What would you say is the fastest/easiest way to get maxed titles? |

I have 6 maxed titles on my monk.
Got Protector of Tyria first (3 months before it existed, so-to-speak), then I focussed on pvp and my other characters a bit... when Nightfall was released, I finally bothered to get the last mission for Cantha (was at 12/13 for 5 months), and soon got Elona as well. Then Hard Mode got implemented, and I quickly fetched the Sunspear title using the Remains of Sahlaja farm. And then I bothered to get the Skill Hunter titles, I got Canthan Skill Hunter first (giving me KoaBD), and I finally bothered fetching Tyrian Skill Hunter last week, putting me at 6 maxed titles. Am not in a financial position to buy enough cap sigs to get Elonian Skill Hunter (and Legendary), so I'll likely go for the Guardian titles first, haven't really done HM alot since it's been introduced. Canthan and Elonian Explorer are also easily achievable, Tyrian Explorer requires alot of searching and time, wouldn't recommend that one. |

Sweet tooth title is only money based (so anyone with funds can get this one)
Drunk title is money based as well but you have to do the minutes which takes awhile. Skill capper is a good one to |

i would say the sweetooth maxed title and the drunkard maxed.
they take a lil bit time but are the easiest.just rekire money and patience. if wan go through explorer titles i would say elona is the easiest to explore.then cantha, and finally tyria is the weirdest. about protectors tyria is the easiest.others may be some pain. |

just be aware that KoaBD (rank 1) of the title is by no means the end rank.

I have never been too concerned about titles, having the game(s) for 21 months now I hvae not maxed a single one, not even protector. I do mean to, just i havn't really had the drive. The way I'd see it is that Protectors would be the easiest. I'd hold off Cartographer, as that is supposed to be quite hard/time consuming. Sunspear would be easy to max, though I think you need 50,000 points for Legendary Spearmarshall, there are ways to farm it. If I were you I'd go for Gaurdian, that way you'd get 4 titles, as there is a ttle for getting gaurdian on all continents afaik.

That's right, I forgot about the Skill caps, which is also a good one. I want them anyway. Kind of expensive since, each cap is 1p cost, but at least you know where each cap is, and can enjoy yourself while going for it.

Sunspear points is by far the easiest (even easier then Protector).
All you need to do is go to remains in the desolation and use wurms to "farm" points over and over again. |

I am working on this also. I am doing my 5 in SS, LB, Elonian/Canthan Skill hunters and masters on Factions Missions. Spending about 230k on cap sigs :/

Work on the protector, skill hunter, Sunspear, Lightbringer, and cartographer are imo the fastest and easiest to get. Also survivor is easy to get, only problem I have is it was not introduced into the game on the release of prophecies so im stuck without that title.

fastest path:
3 protector titles sunspear lightbringer these require no cash and are fairly easy to get. the sunspear and lightbringer titles require a bit of farming but that's not that bad if you include it in a run to get elemental swords and such. some people are saying drunkard and sweet tooth but that's only if you have the cash lying around to be able to buy 10,000 points for each. if you have a lot of money, wisdom title is also very fast to max as I've gotten people who can pay max wisdom within a week and a half. |

yeah the prot titles are the easiest since you have to do the missions anyways...after that the ss was pretty easy (though grinding).
I also felt that cartographer wasnt that difficult especially in Cantha..its so small that it was pretty easy. I did Prophecy as well, but that was mostly because my monk had more than 80% already explored when the titles appeared (he liked to run around the edges of mobs and such) so getting the last % wasnt all that bad (though frustrating at times....) so it really depends on what you want to do.....there are cashed based ones ---buy sweets, unid-ed golds etc; and there are more useful ones like capping all the skills.... so it just depends on how much time, money and effort you have---lots of the titles are easy to get. |

The easiest to hardest IMHO:
1. Cantha Protector 2. Nightfall Protector 3. Prophecies Protector 4. Sunspear (lots of farming - quite tedious) 5. Lightbringer (more farming) 6. Sweet tooth (more farming to raise funds) 7. Drunkard (need cash & time) 8. Cantha skill hunter (bosses always in same place, never far from town) 9. Elona skill hunter (you know where the bosses are) 10. Prophecies skill hunter (random boss spawns) 11. Cantha cartographer (it's that last 1% or so that gets you) 12. Elona cartographer (that last 1% or so) 13. Prophecies cartographer (last 1% and a few tough places in S. Shiverpeaks) 14+ Hard mode titles. |

Agree on Protector titles for the first three.
Sunspear sounds easy to me, but never tried farming the title. Sweet tooth and drunkard depend on available cash. Skill hunters, I agree with Kook, but this one also requires a lot of cash. Not sure about the carto titles. I would say that Cantha is the hardest, depending on the areas you already have (like starter/boardwalk area and Jaden Quarry). Also, till GW:EN the Carto titles also give you a 4th max title, Legendary Cartographer. When you have enough cash, consider combining drunkard, carto and skills together. You have to walk to the bosses anyway, why not explore at the same time (remember to cover ALL ground). |

If you have the $$ for skills then go for skill hunter, you actually get four titles for the price of 3
Tyrian elite skill hunter Canthan elite skill hunter Elonian elite skill hunter Legendary skill hunter then you only have to get one Protector title and you have 5 maxed for KoaBD...I have al prot and all skills so have 7 titles, but another hour and will have sunspear as well. Cartography is tough, I always get stuck at like 96%. Sweet tooth is my next title, but will be a while as I cannot make money anymore in this game so have to farm the items..got around 400 bunnies at last event so wish they would put out more events for that one. |
